Singer and guitarist Alex Chilton, who topped the Charts as a teen, later became a cult superstar with Big Star, and Produced Music for The Cramps died Wednesday, after hardship a callousness denigration while mowing his lawn. It looks as if the West Texas Class 5A Schools got their Desire from the University Interscholastic League on Monday. During it’s bienniel realignment, the UIL announced that District 3-5A would be recreated as the 10-team area 2-5A was split, and it also pronounced the restitution of the Abilene Schools to the district. District 3-5A will consist of Abilene High, Abilene Cooper, Midland High, Lee, Odessa High and Odessa Permian.
District 2-5A will have Amarillo High, Amarillo Tascosa, Lubbock High, Lubbock Coronado, Lubbock Monterey and San Angelo Central for Football. Central will recur to District 3 for Sports other than Football.

Port-Au-Prince - Another telling earthquake has hit Haiti. The U.S. Geological Survey says the 6.1 size Activity hit at 6:03 a.m. Wednesday about 35 miles northwest of the Crown of Port-au-Prince.
The originally matutinal earthquake sent race running into the streets of the fine and shook buildings. There were no proximate reports of Injuries from the aftershock. The USGS says the seism struck at a depth of 6.2 miles.
